Today, it was announced, Radio and Television host Wendy Williams will be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. She will join the ranks of Orson Welles, Larry King, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, and even a U.S. President, Franklin D. Roosevelt!
Williams, "a woman of a certain age", has spent 20 years on the air in New York and Philidelphia becoming famous for her controversial interviews. (Mariah Carey's song "Touch My Body" even mentions this, saying, "all up in my bid'ness like a Wendy interview.") Recently, she decided to leave the airwaves to focus on her new show, The Wendy Williams Show, and to focus on her family. The announcement was made to Wendy LIVE on her television program in a surprise phone call. Watch that HERE!
